Mil-Tec - Multi-use Tarpaulin Basha Lightweight

I've had this tarp for almost 10 years (maybe more...), I think it's great because it's light and compact, Flecktarn camouflage is still very effective... It is not perfect because it is a bit narrow but I use it for a multitude of jobs... (Extra tarp, floor mat, protection of my belongings against humidity, hiding equipment such as kayak, bike, backpack etc...).

I set it up on the terrace the first time it rains to test the quality. Unfortunately it started dripping after 10 minutes of rain and after another 30 minutes I had to remove it again because it completely leaked. Unfortunately, the impregnation here leaves much to be desired. Better spend a few euros more for better quality.

Functional part, but not suitable as sun protection. Although it provides shade, it allows UV rays to pass through and therefore does not protect against sunburn. So basically okay, but the area of application needs to be carefully considered.

I like the variety of loops and snaps, as well as the low weight. The packsack with sturdy cord is a comfortable size. The price of 29.99€ at the time of purchase (February\ '16) is also unbeatable. Unfortunately, the processing quality of my plans leaves much to be desired: On all (!) Three middle bracing loops are holes in the seams, so it can only be made waterproof by repairing it. Unfortunately, anyone who buys cheaply usually buys twice...
