I've been wearing the boots regularly for over a year now when working out, hiking and in everyday life. As soon as you are entered correctly, you sit really well, no pressing, not too much play and very stable. It's best to order 0.5 - 1 size larger and try with the matching socks (I recommend Falke TK2), unfortunately the soles have a major shortcoming! I think the heavy wear was due to track protection on sharp stone. Anyone who thinks the sole is rubbing off quickly is wrong, no the individual profile studs literally break away. Very unfortunate, I expected more. MfG

I haven't had such a bad “combat boot” yet, unfortunately... After about a year of frequent use, hundreds of rounds of crossbeds, 3D archery, easy hikes, daily driving in disabled services with wheelchair loading, this boot is completely leaky, torn at all points of kink and movement and thus nuclear waste. Too bad, I expected more from Lowa at this price.
