The helmet arrived the next day. It is manufactured to a very high standard. The inner leather has a manufacturer's stamp. Since the ventilation hole is embossed, it is more of an M 40. My hat size is 61 and the helmet fits. Thanks to the adjustable inner lining, it could fit even bigger “heads”. Conclusion:buy

My opinion about this replica: The details and strict requirements of the former Army Weapons Office are so respected and authentic that one could immediately assume that it was a historical original. Even the materials and components of the interior are authentic — down to the drawstring. I agree with other reviewers here that it is actually an M40, the successor to the M35. The price is definitely justified and the materials are as described. Indeed makes a “terrifying” real impression in terms of feel, look and weight. Even the standard embossing of the size and manufacturer on the inner edge of the bell is available. Unfortunately, the helmet was only packed in a bag, loose and without padding in the box, and broke it from the inside during transport. But the product is not responsible for that, so my 5 stars remain. Conclusion: Highly recommended not only as a decoration but also as a collector's item because of the great authenticity of the original. With my slightly larger head circumference, size L punch in the helmet: 68- fits perfectly.

Because I am only 1.75 tall and have a head circumference of 59 cm, I was looking for an M35 that had a smaller outer shell than that of competitors. I found him here. It is smaller and lighter than others, looks great and the quality is also ok. Size M fits like a glove.

The steel helmet is an M40 not an M35! Still a very good reproduction. I read in a review that the helmet was already delivered with rust! However, it is not rust, but red primer. In my opinion, the steel helmet is an absolute purchase recommendation. With a camouflage cover, it simply looks great.
