It was clear to me that I would not get a super-sharp hand-sharpened knife with this. Until now, I've used a slightly larger model for resharpening, which my grandpa once gave me. Unfortunately, it is now completely “done” and I was looking for a smaller alternative for traveling. After sharpening a few branches of wood, I pulled the knife 3-4 times through the “fine” side. After that, the knife was completely unusable and blunt. A colleague tested it on his knife and was also disappointed. By the way, the piece after the handle also stays off - because of the plastic, you can only start further back.

I love this product and use it next to a whetstone.
