Hand lamp Shark orange

The HydraCell Shark Handlamp Orange is powered by two eco-friendly, water-activated TC2D energy cells. Each TC2D energy cell offers up to 60 hours of runtime and is free from toxins and harmful substances. Its components are biodegradable.

Featuring two bright, durable LEDs and a specialized reflector, this handlamp delivers a powerful, focused beam for any situation requiring reliable illumination. The lens and reflector provide both a centrally concentrated beam and a wide light cone with a range of up to 300 meters. The Shark is waterproof, floats at a 45° angle in water, and includes an emergency light or strobe function.

Information on the water-activated HydraCell energy cells:

The energy cell needs to be submerged in water for 10-15 seconds. This moistens the salt-impregnated bridge layers, creating a connection between the magnesium core and the oxygen in the air. This initiates an electrochemical reaction that releases electrons. These are collected by the carbon membrane cathode and converted into usable energy.

Once activated, the energy cells maintain a constant voltage and require only occasional reactivation for continued use. Initial activations can be done with any type of water. For optimal performance and full capacity of the energy cells, reactivations with warm to hot water are recommended. In emergencies, HydraCell energy cells can be activated and reactivated with any non-oil-based liquids (rainwater, stream water, seawater, tap water, and even dirty water).
