Haix - Boots Airpower P9 High khaki

Great shoe but unfortunately cut too tight

My old HAIX BGS are slowly coming to an end after about 10 years. So I was looking for something new, especially for spring, summer, autumn, and came across the P9 Desert. Ordered, dressed and comfortable. Sits great on the foot, the toes have plenty of room up and the handle is very stable. Of course, the BGS boots or even the Scout Desert are much more comfortable, almost like a sneaker, but also with loss of stability. I use the boot for hunting and hiking in rough terrain and have no regrets about buying it. However, if you want to travel longer distances and value a soft seat more, you are probably better off with a Scout or other boots. For me, the BGS is still unbeaten, but it is also a bit warmer.

Very good boot. Very neatly made in Croatia. Super comfortable, one star deduction due to the high price and another star deduction. The boot is NOT waterproof. For me, it is already the second P9 with the problem. The same applies to the P6, there is water ingress from the tongue. Even after impregnation with Goretex spray. For me, the P9 is a boot for midsummer and for traveling to countries where there is poisonous livestock. The waterproofness doesn't really matter to me, but since the manufacturer advertises with its great membrane and thus partly justifies the price, it is a reason for points deduction. The size is normal.
