Petzl - Foot Loop Footape

The length-adjustable Footape from the top brand Petzl is made of abrasion-resistant polyamide webbing and is used together with the rope clamps (ASMC item 53127 & 53324) for ascending ropes. It is primarily on free-hanging rope a big help and enables a fast and above all power-saving climb.
The foot loop is connected on one of the two rope clamps, with the load on it, the second cable clamp which is connected to the harness is free and can be moved up. Then you sit in the harness and push the cable clamp connected to the foot loop a little further up. This process is repeated until the target is reached.
The foot portion is abrasion resistant reinforced to make the entry easier and the elastic strap ensures the hold of the foot in the loop. The foot loop is adjustable in size and therefore suitable for all types of footwear.
With the Double Back buckle the height of the foot loop can be quickly and easily adjust and so adapt to the body size.
Also together with two Prusik slings or in tree climbing, the foot loop Petzl Footape is a great help.
