Helikon-Tex - Woodsman Anorak taiga green

Robust functional jacket for working outdoors or short trips in changeable weather. Ventilation easily adjustable, solid hood, sufficiently weatherproof from spring to autumn. Don't hang in shreds right away when you have to go through the blackberry bush... I like them.

I bought the anorak mainly for hiking. I haven't gone on very long tours yet, but I really like it on short distances. The stretch material on the back gives the necessary mobility in the upper body and at the same time releases some air from the back. Good when you're wearing a backpack; rather unpleasant when you're out and about with wind from behind - but still okay and not too fresh. You can also tighten the bottom, tighten the cuffs and seal at the top. If, on the other hand, it gets too warm, you can really cool off very quickly thanks to the wide front zipper and under your arms. Lots of well-thought-out ideas, in my opinion. Plenty of space in the “kangaroo bag” at the front, access for the hands (not so easy to reach with a lap strap). Can you squeeze and store at handball size The hood keeps the wind out and the chin protection is very comfortable, but does not replace a bandana or scarf. A thick fleece fits just under it, but then it's pretty tight (I'm 184cm tall, 95kg, sporty and I bought XL). Overall, a really special jacket that, in my opinion, can easily be worn in everyday life or in the city.

The jacket is really great, beautifully made and impresses me with its clever details. I went on a longer tour today as soon as she arrived, thanks to the long zipper you can perfectly regulate the temperature. The material on the back is really airy but I didn't have the feeling that the wind would cool you down there. I can therefore highly recommend the jacket. Even though I can't give a long-term opinion yet, of course. The only criticism point that the hood could have used a wire.
