The jacket features two buttoned chest pockets with additional zippered pockets behind them, as well as two buttoned flap pockets for ample storage space. The adjustable sleeve cuffs with Velcro ensure a personalized fit, while the waist and hem can be tightened with drawstrings for added comfort.

The double fabric layers on the shoulders and arms enhance the jacket's durability. The covered 2-way front zipper with a Velcro flap provides reliable protection against wind and weather. All buttons are securely stitched with fabric tape, ensuring long-lasting use.

I had this jacket for 10 years but was beginning to be really "used". When it came on my size on asmc's website at that price, I ordered a new used one :-) It looks very few used, military British signs and flag on arms. Camo is darker than my previous one. Very happy with it. Its a smoke without hood in fact.

Britische Feldjacke desert gebraucht 200/104
The British desert camouflage jacket made from cotton ripstop material (“Jacket, DPM Field Desert”) is a beautiful and functional army jacket. Particularly suitable for the warm season because it is the lightest of all British field jackets/smocks and the cotton is not as dense as the blended fabric of the newer windproof smocks. Due to the differences in ripstop fabric, a slightly textured surface usually forms after a few washes (looks like many small bubbles that are arranged regularly). The pattern is almost always present on used jackets. My copy came with three patches. The name band was easy to remove because it had only been sewn on. I left the other two patches (TRF right and Brigade Insignia left) on the jacket. There are also matching buttons for the jacket (but they must always be the same width as the jacket). Can be washed at up to 60°C Measurements (for 180/96: i.e. nominally intended for people with 180 cm height and 96 cm chest width) Chest width (armpit-armpit): 62 cm Sleeve length: 64.5 cm Back length (up to collar): 82cm It is therefore relatively large and long because it is designed to be covered over a complete uniform+fleece. For use in summer or when you don't need such a wide/long jacket, you can choose one size smaller (see dimensions above). I usually wear size L (52/54 or 106; large long for US Army and 190/104 for British items). But I chose this size (180/96) for summer.
