What does the volume specification indicate for the products?

What is stated is what fits. We liter our backpacks, bags, etc., practically. We use loosely filled granular bags with 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 liters, which also distribute themselves into corners and niches. This gives us very precise information about the actual packing volume, including external pockets and lid compartments.

Can a tent or backpack be washed in a washing machine?

Please do not. Although they may not necessarily break, the warranty will definitely be void. Clean backpacks or bags with lukewarm water and dish soap – preferably in the bathtub. Post-cleaning waterproofing is also unnecessary because the materials are coated. Your tent will also be properly cleaned by hand washing with water and a sponge. After cleaning, allow them to dry thoroughly and store in a clean, dark place to prevent mold and odors.

The Name

The name Tatonka comes from the Sioux Indian language. Translated into German, it means Bison. The Bison is both the leading symbol of the brand and part of its logo.
