The US-based brand manufacturer Fisher, headquartered in Nevada, was founded in the 1950s and offers pens designed for secure use in extreme weather, temperatures, and other outdoor conditions.

How Fisher Pens Work

All Fisher pens feature a pressurized mechanism, ensuring continuous writing capability through an integrated gas pressurized refill. According to the manufacturer, Space Pens can be used upside down, underwater, or in extreme temperature ranges, between minus 45 and plus 120 degrees Celsius.

All pens are equipped with a classic clip for attachment to pants, jackets, or backpacks. The robust construction ensures that the clip does not break off in the heat of action and can be returned to its position under all circumstances.

The ink does not dry out under the specified conditions, allowing the pen to write immediately upon retrieval. The independent replacement of refills is possible with almost all models and does not affect the pen's pressurized mechanism; therefore, carrying one or more spare refills is recommended.
