Salomon - Botas Quest 4D GTX Fuerzas 2

Unfortunately this shoe was not available which is why I bought the Lowa Zephyr Mid GTX (not Mk. II) bought. After the first tour (approx. 8 km), however, the sole fell apart, so returns sent. However, ASMC was more than accommodating here and the Lowa was replaced by this shoe (including an additional charge, of course) - which was also originally desired. After 2 days, the whole thing was there too. Dressed and fits! So right. I have previously measured using Salomon's size chart. Left foot 27.2 cm, right 27.5 -> UK 9. At first I had concerns because some write yes, it is smaller. But, just take a risk and, for me at least, it's a perfect fit. It doesn't squeeze anything, especially on the heel! The Lowa pressed my heel because the shell is quite hard at the back (which is not a bad thing). But the shoe itself didn't really suit the shape of my foot. The Salomon, on the other hand, really fits perfectly. I have now worn it for about 8 hours for the third day in a row, especially with thin and thick socks. An absolutely well-thought-out detail - the laces are self-locking where you virtually tie the heel back (with a corresponding lacing knot, for example). Means: No wild knotting, no slipping of the heel in the shoe - terrific! The shoelace pocket in the tongue is also a funny gimmick. Only the laces feel 2 km long. Half of the length would have been excessively enough here. Otherwise, the sole is absolutely top notch and the Ortholite insole is also an absolute gain. All in all, this shoe is an absolute asset. Yes, he has yet to master the true use in the field, etc., but I am more than confident about that.

Very good workmanship and comfortable fit. Flap pocket for laces. But be careful: it is a bit smaller. I typically have 46 in combat boots, 46.5 would have been better with this model.
