I've had the firesteel for a while now. Do what it should, but rather use the knife etc. instead of the scraper, as it only works for me with a lot of effort.

Well... Firesteel can't do much wrong now, at most the user. It works better with the back of a knife than with the included scraper but otherwise everything is great.

It really works there. Recommended for hikers who are on the go too. I'd like to start a fire. I also recommend bringing a small fire oven to plug in or fold so that only the wood burns and not the forest :-)

Do the job. The scraper provided works well. Ferrocerium bar is thick, it should be used. For the price, do not hesitate.
